Listen to Obituary

Hello, this is Broderick Mosley, but most of you know me as "Bad Boy Moe." I was born in Dallas, TX on June 18, 1960, a city that I loved and never left. Here I spent 66 joy-filled years, surrounded by music, love, and my faithful dog, Spike. My life was a symphony, filled with the melodies and harmonies of the many churches and bands in the Dallas Forth Worth area to which I dedicated my musical talents. I was funny, compassionate, and dedicated, and I loved making people smile with my music. I found joy in the simple things, like the keys of my beloved keyboard which I played with untamed enthusiasm, and in the company of Spike, who was always by my side.

I was a man of faith. It was an integral part of my life and it shaped me into the man I became. It was my faith that inspired my music, and it was my music that allowed me to express my faith. Music was my gift, and I used it to bring joy, healing, and unity to those around me. I was never formally employed, but my work was in the chords, melodies, and rhythms I played. I was self-taught, and my talent on piano, keyboard, drums, organ, and guitar brought countless hours of joy to my community and myself.

I leave behind my beloved companion of 11 wonderful years, 2 siblings and a host of family and friends, who have stood by me through the ups and downs of life. My life will be celebrated with a graveside service at Lincoln Cemetery at Family First Funerals and Cremations on Tuesday, 18 Aug 2026 at 11:00am CDT. The address is 8100 Fireside Drive, Dallas, Texas, 75217. I

invite you all to remember me not with tears, but with laughter, music, and love. Please share your memories and upload photos of our time together on my memorial page. Let's celebrate my life, for it was a life filled with joy, music, and love. As you remember me, remember also to keep the faith, keep the music alive, and always, always keep laughing.
