Clorie Joseph Lawrence was born January 16, 1947, to the union of William Hill and Louise Lawrence in Belzoni, MS.

Clorie spent his final years in Seagoville, Texas, and passed away on April 17, 2026. He had a life journey filled with love, laughter, and profound compassion. He lived his life with an incredible spirit, and although he is no longer with us physically, his charismatic personality and dependable nature will forever resonate in our hearts

Clorie received his education from High School – West Division. Clorie graduated from college with an Associate’s Degree from MATC in Applied Science in Milwaukee, WI. Clorie accepted Christ and was a faithful member of Jesus Soul Saving Traveling Mission, where he served in many capacities. Clorie Lawrence was united in holy matrimony with Dianne Lawrence on August 4, 1982, in Waukegan, IL. Their union was blessed with 2 children. Clorie honorably served in the United States Army as a rifle specialist, where he was able to travel the world. After his discharge, he was employed as a welder and was able to retire from A.O. Smith and Tower Automotive.

Clorie was a man of resilience and dedication. In his spare time, Clorie enjoyed watching sports, playing basketball, photography, grilling, and traveling with his family. His legacy is not just in his deeds but also in the lives he enhanced and the hearts he warmed.

Clorie Lawrence departed this life on April 17, 2026. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Lawrence, and his father, William Hill, along with siblings Albert Thomas, Creola Thomas, Marvin Thomas, Betty, Rodney Hill, Willie G.
