Clydus was a devoted father who was defined by his love for his family, cooking, and enjoying his time with his grandchildren.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Clydus Irvin was a man who loved his family and Jesus Christ dearly. He was born as Clydus Dewayne Irvin, the second born son to the late Claudia Lee Irvin, in Memphis, TN in 1964. Не worked as a mechanic and was known as a jack of all trades for his incredible ability to fix anything.

Beyond his work, Clydus was a devoted father who was defined by his love for his family, cooking, and enjoying his time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his contagious laughter, his sharp sense of humor and his legendary story telling. Even more so, he will be missed for his beautiful, kind, and giving heart. All who encompassed his path will forever be touched by his selfless nature and warm and gentle spirit.

Known as "Baldy" or "Wayne" by those who knew him closely, Baldy was an Angel on earth. To have known him was truly a blessing. Baldy was surrounded by love as he gained his wings on Friday, September 11, 2026.

Family meant everything to Baldy. He leaves behind one daughter, Comella Irvin, three sons, Travis Irvin, Clydus Irvin Jr and Cassell Irvin, eight grandchildren, one great granddaughter, a sister, Coronda Irvin, a brother, er, Terrance Terrance Nicholson, one aaunt and a host of neices, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his late mother, Claudia Lee Irvin, grandmother Farrah Lee Temple, and daughter, Pecola Irvin
