Danny Carter was born on February 13, 1955, in Dallas, Texas to Van Carter and Earlaine Carter.

Danny spent his final years in Dallas, Texas, and passed away on April 17, 2026. He had a life journey filled with love, laughter, and profound compassion. He lived his life with an incredible spirit, and although he is no longer with us physically, his charismatic personality and dependable nature will forever resonate in our hearts.

Danny received his education from South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas. Danny accepted Christ as her savior, at an early age, at South Oak Cliff Baptist Church. Danny became active in the Muslim community.

Danny was a man of resilience and dedication. Danny loved to hang with his buddies and dress fly. He had a funny personality and loved to shuck n jive with you. His legacy is not just in his deeds but also in the lives he enhanced and the hearts he warmed.

Danny Larue Cater departed this life on April 17, 2026. He is preceded in death by: his mother Earline Carter and father Van G. Carter.

Danny leaves to cherish his memory, his only child Kendra Latrice Carter, his 2 grandchildren Damon Petry Jr. and Kayla Ervin, great grandchildren Xander Cornist and Z’kai Cornist, brother Vincent Carter Sister Velva Maloof, one surviving Aunt Ladell Daniels and a host of nieces and nephews.
