It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Donald Ray Brown, born on April 22, 1970, in Dallas, Texas, and passed away on March 10, 2026. While we grieve his departure, we also celebrate the remarkable life he lived. As the poet Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Donald lived by this principle, touching the lives of many with his kindness, compassion, and enduring sense of humor, and he enjoyed getting on people’s nerves.
Donald received his formal education from Roosevelt High School in Dallas, Texas. At the age of 55 was united with Gospel Hill church. He had 5 children and 3 grandchildren. He found his calling as a Salon Owner, dedicating his life to providing services. His career was not merely a job, but a testament to his unwavering commitment to serve others.
Donald is survived by his loving mother, Jamie Taylor, who was his rock and inspiration.
His Sons: Brandon, Donald Jr. Ray, Daryl
Daughters: Jasmine and Skylar
Grandchildren: Brandon II and Brielle
Nieces: Qa’Brenna, and Cornice
Nephew: Tiangelo Hopkins
Aunts: Lorie Brown and Stella Brown
Uncle: Doyce Brown
Cousins: Lisa McDonald, Judy Timmons, and Dwight Brown.
And a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Saw. His sister, Lawonda Brown, and brother, Cornelius Brown.
His legacy lives on not only through his family but also through the countless lives he touched and changed for the better. We invite you to celebrate Donald's life by sharing your memories and photos on his memorial page. It is in these personal tributes that comfort can be found, and his spirit will continue to live on.
