Harold W. Bryant, the oldest child of Olice Bryant Jr. and Mildred Johnson Bryant, transitioned from this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. He spent his final years in DeSoto, Texas, where he passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026.

He carried an incredible spirit—charismatic, dependable, and deeply rooted in family. Though he is no longer with us physically, the warmth of his personality will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.

Harold attended Roosevelt High School in Dallas, Texas, and Wylie College in Marshall, Texas.

Harold met and married the love of his life, Helen Daniels, on October 4, 1969, and gained a bonus daughter, Andra Daniels (aka Andrea Brown). Harold and Helen built a life grounded in devotion, resilience, and unwavering love.

He was a faithful member and Deacon of Greater Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas. Harold was also a member of the Brotherhood Ministry Choir.

A man of dedication, Harold was employed by TXO Trucking Company for 20 years as a truck driver. His hobbies included playing dominoes and spending time with family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Olice Bryant Jr., his wife, Helen Bryant, and son, Anthony Bryant.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Mildred Bryant, sister Lisa Bryant, sister Tamiko Bryant-Sockwell (Jeppy), Ben Wheeler, bonus daughter and bonus granddaughter Andrea Brown, and Kiara Daniels, and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who will continue to honor his legacy.

Harold's spirit lives through the love he shared and the lives he touched. The family invites all who knew him to celebrate his life by sharing memories and photos on his memorial page. In these tributes, comfort can be found, and his presence will continue to shine.
