Hosea Jackson

We gather today to remember and honor Hosea Lee Jackson's vibrant life. He was known for his

infectious laughter, boundless kindness, and unwavering strength. He was born on April 17, 1961, in Kilgore, Texas, to A.G. Jackson and Retha Templeton, who preceded him in death.

Hosea was a beacon of light in every room he entered. His radiant spirit and warm heart left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. As author Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Hoseaknew this truth deeply and lived it every day.  Hosea was a loving son, brother, cousin, uncle, and devoted friend. He was kind-hearted, always caring, and giving to others.

Hosea departed this life on October 30, 2025. He is preceded in death by his mother, Retha Jackson, father, A.G. Jackson, and brothers, Michael Jackson, Charmey Jackson, and Donald Ray Jackson.  Hosea's memories will forever linger with his sister, Joyce M. Jackson. Holman, Cousin Darius Hunter, niece Kassie Ward, Johnnie Polk, George Rodgers, and a host of

other relatives and friends, too numerous to mention.  Hosea received compassionate care from his physicians, nurses, and staff at Methodist Charlton Medical Center, Baylor Scott & White, Remarkable Rehabilitation, Skyline Nursing Home,  Williamsburg Village, and Custom Care Home Health and Hospice. The family of Hosea Lee Jackson will forever be grateful to each of you for the care you gave him.
