Jerry Lee Colter Jr. 62, passed away on May 29, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 10,1964 in Dallas, Texas.

Jerry was a Line worker at Mesquite Modules. He has several years of service there. Jerry loved his job, and loved all of his coworkers more. He spoke highly of all of you! Thank you for taking care of him. He was known for his ability to connect with others through simple, meaningful moments. He had the most infectious laugh ever! He loved being everyone's BIG BROTHER! and he was serious about his job as a big brother! We could not ask for a better person to fulfill this job.

Outside of work, Jerry had a deep love for the outdoors dancing, which he was great at. He loved a party no matter what the party was. He enjoyed football, The way he knew how to fuss about the Cowboys was a better show than the game itself! Camping, he loved spending time with his boys y'all know who you are! Whether cheering on his favorite team or relaxing outdoors, Loving on the people he loved. Jerry found joy in life’s everyday pleasures.

Jerry is survived by his Mother Alberta Davis, his siblings, Erik Colter, Regina Hamilton Schrunda Handley, Jamaal Davis, Anthony Colter, and Travis Colter.; 2 Sisters in laws , Cynthia Colter, and Onzaria Davis, 2 brother in laws Alfonzo Handley, and Sean Hamilton. 2 God Children Gabriel Carpenter (Husband Quintin Carpenter) Jermaine Hunter 3 God Grandchildren. Eddy Rey Jr., Urirayelle Carpenter, Urian Carpenter. Rhonda Flemister (Fiancée). 6 nephews Laprince Colter, Brian Alexander Jr., Vincent Cross, David Sean Hamilton, Jalen Davis, and Roman Davis. 4 Nieces: Penelope Hawkins, Reneka Manning, Erika Colter, and Olivia Davis. 3 Great nephews: special nephew Markiest, David Vereen Jr, and Wright.1 Uncle: Ronny Jordan. 7 1st cousins; Jerrold Jordan, Rollin Hines, Angela Williams, Laveta Beavers-Bradley, Derrick McMillian, Lakiesha Henderson, Crystal Grady, Kyle Carter, Felicia Jordan, Leandera Butler, Catrina Lee. and a host of extended family, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Jerry is preceded in death by his Father Jerry Lee Colter Sr., Grandmother Pernice Griggs. His Great Grandmother Gertrude Smith Great Grandfather Milton Smith, His Great Great Aunt Grace Hembry a host of Uncles and Aunts.

Jerry will be remembered for his strength, his love for family, and the lasting impact he made on those around him. His presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

His legacy lives on not only through his family but also through the countless lives he touched and changed for the better.
