TC, as he was affectionately called, was known for his humor.

To family and friends, it's time to bid adieu to a man who was as fiery as the flames he used to put out. Jerry Lee Wallace, also known as TC, has hung up his fishing rod, put away his football, and left the building for the last time. Born on January 25, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, to the proud parents of Thomas and Virginia Wallace. Jerry Lee spent most of his 75 years in this world making us laugh until our sides split and our cheeks ached. He was as generous as a Texas oil tycoon, always the first to pull out his wallet when the check came, and as loving as a spoonful of his Mama's Chess Pie. Loyalty was his middle name, well, actually, it was Lee but you can count on him for anything needed to be taken care of.

Jerry "TC" was a bona fide hero, spending his days battling blazes as a Dallas firefighter, a career he retired from in 1989. He was a member of the Dallas Firefighter Class #170 from October 1975, proving that he was always first in line when it came to helping others. In his spare time, he could often be found cheering on his alma mater, the Prairie View A&M University Football Team, or casting a line out on the local fishing hole. But what mattered most to Jerry was not the fish he caught or the games he won, but his beloved daughter, Tanisha, and granddaughter, Tiante'. He cared deeply for his siblings as well.

TC, as he was affectionately called, was known for his humor. He was the kind of guy who could turn a funeral into a comedy show. We're pretty sure he would want us to laugh and remember the good times we had with him. So, let's honor him by living as he did, with a heart full of love and a spirit full of joy. As Proverbs 17:22 says, "A cheerful heart is good medicine." Jerry Lee was just what the doctor ordered.

Jerry departed this life on September 17, 2026, and was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Jr., mother, Virginia Wallace. Grandparents, Ted and Ophelia Jones. Brother, Rodney Wallace, and sister, Beverly Davis and Lucy May Wallace.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his only baby girl, Tanisha Wallace, and granddaughter, Tiante' Wallace; his brothers, Bill Edward Wallace and Clifford Wallace (Carolyn);his sisters, Virginia Kay Johnson, Thomasine "Tommie" Curry(Rick) and Barbara Wallace-Rutherford; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Also, a special friend, Paula Atkinson.
