Juan Guzman, a man of incomparable spirit and unwavering strength, passed away on August 7, 2026. Born on May 16, 1955, in Durango, Mexico, Juan spent his formative years under the loving guidance of his parents, Antonio and Irene Guzman. 

He later made a home for himself in Dallas, Texas, where he lived for 57 cherished years. 

As the famous Mexican proverb goes, "They tried to bury us. They didn't know we were seeds." Juan was indeed a seed who grew into a towering tree, providing shelter, support, and love to those around him. Juan was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the everyday and the mundane; he was rich in ways that mattered most – in love, in wisdom, and in spirit. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Irene Guzman. 

His life will be celebrated at a funeral service at Family First Funerals and Cremations on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 2:00pm CDT.
