Kerry Ladon Johnson

Kerry LaDon Johnson was the son of Daphney Taylor and Emmett Bonner born November 15th,1984 in Dallas, Texas. He was the second twin to arrive, Kendrick first.

Kerry departed this life July 9, 2026. Even though he is no longer with us physically, his adventurous spirit, charismatic personality, and reliable nature will forever resonate in our hearts. A Dallas native, Kerry spent his time reading and drawing and cheering on his favorite team, The Dallas Cowboys.

Kerry received his education from James Madison High School in Dallas Independent School District. He worked at a Window Company and Waste Management. Kerry was a devoted son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend who was loved by everyone he touched.

Throughout his life Kerry was known for compassionate spirit and unwavering support for his loved ones. He brought joy and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His laughter and kindness will be dearly missed. Kerry found great comfort and guidance in relationship with Christ at the Love 5C Family Worship Center.

Kerry is preceded in death by his brothers, Emmett Johnson, Kendrick Johnson, father Emmett Bonner, maternal grandparents Marvin and Julie Johnson, paternal grandparents Mary and Cohen Bonner, uncles Marvin Johnson Jr. and Curtis Johnson, Aunts: Linda Armstrong and Margaret Rector, Great Aunt Imogene Anderson.

Kerry leaves to cherish 3 children, Lyrik Johnson, Jamarian Johnson, and Travion Johnson, His mother Daphney Taylor Richard Jonhson, sister Tonya Baker from Birmingham, Alabama. He also leaves 10 wonderful aunts: Jeanie, Betty, Mozelle, Rosie, Pamela, Carolyn, Bobbie, Norma, Janice, and Mable, Douglas from Houston, Texas. He has a host of cousins, grandnephews, and other family members and friends.
