Marjorie Louise Davis

November 28, 1956 — October 16, 2025

Marjorie Louise “Sister” Davis, lovingly known by her nickname Sister, was born on November 28, 1956, in Hillsboro, Texas, to Mark Oliver Davis Sr (preceded her in death) and Norma Louise Grant ( Dallas Tx). Marjorie peacefully passed away on October 16, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, at the precious age of 68.

Marjorie grew up surrounded by love and family alongside her siblings, Oliver Lee Davis, Barbara Jeanetta Davis, Mark Oliver Davis Jr (preceded her in death) and Cheryl Denise Davis (preceded her in Death) Michael Jermaine Davis (preceded her in Death). She was the mother of eight beautiful children: Kareem Grant, Oliver Davis, Ayesha Randolph, Shamere Davis, Shelicia Davis, Carl Talton, Jessica Rasley, and Nicholas Whitley. She was also blessed with a joyful “baseball team of grandbabies” who filled her heart with laughter and pride. Her best friend and sister in spirit, Rhonda “Blondie” West, shared a lifelong bond that was built on love, loyalty, and laughter.

Marjorie attended Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas, where she began developing her confidence, creativity, and individuality. Throughout her life, she pursued her passions for modeling, drawing, reading, and traveling the U.S. She showed her generous heart through sharing with family & friends, and through her volunteer work with the Salvation Army and her local church The Winners Assembly Church. She truly enjoyed giving her time to help others and spreading smiles wherever she went.

Outspoken, vibrant, and full of life, Marjorie ’s presence could light up any room. Her beautiful smile and dreamy eyes were as unforgettable as her personality.

Marjorie was a woman of faith who loved God deeply. She loved life and embraced everything it had to offer. She was a giver from the heart, a natural storyteller, and a joyful spirit who could keep you listening and laughing for hours. Her love, warmth, and strength will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul.” — Psalm 23:1–
