Robert Alan Keene, or “Bob”, was born on April 13, 1949, in Englewood, NJ, and passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 77. Bob is survived by his loving, dedicated wife, Zen; his daughter, Shannon; granddaughter, Cassidy; stepsons, Michael Sandifer, David Sandifer, and Cogie Domingo; his brothers, Michael (Diana) and James (Paulette); and his sister, Marjorie. Bob is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Virginia Keene.

Bob spent his early years in Englewood, New Jersey, before venturing out to Sioux City, Iowa; Queens, New York; and Buffalo, New York. He went on to live in both Lancaster, California and Las Vegas, Nevada; however, it was Heartland, Texas, where he and his wife spent the last ten years of his life, so he could live near his daughter. He served in the United States Army from 1967-1970 where he was awarded Vietnam service medals with four bronze service stars. He went on to become a salesman at Xerox, until his retirement in 1996. Bob enjoyed playing golf, and loved whipping up a pot of his famous spaghetti and meatballs for family and friends. Being a grandpa to Cassidy was his greatest joy.

Robert's memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him as the best dad and as a wonderful husband, grandpa, brother, and friend.

In these moments of loss and sadness, let's take the time to remember Robert for the resilience, wit, dedication, and generosity that he showed throughout his life. We invite you to share your memories of Robert, and upload photos of him to his memorial page, celebrating his life and the joy he brought to ours.
