Robert Glenn Turner was born on January 7, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, to Lois Hollins and Leavy Adams Jr.
Robert spent his final years in Fort Worth, Texas, and passed away on December 15, 2025. He lived his life with an incredible spirit, and although he is no longer with us physically, his charismatic personality and dependable nature will forever resonate in our hearts.
Robert attended Lincoln High School. He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior with the Piedmont Church of Christ, where he served as a faithful member. Robert was united in holy matrimony with Gay Renita Smith in Gilmer, Texas. Their union was blessed with a son.
Robert was a man of resilience and dedication, as evidenced by his long and fulfilling career at Pilgrims Pride and Dean’s Lumber. In his leisure time, he enjoyed people, chess, dominoes, sudoku, and puzzles. His legacy is not just in his deeds but also in the lives he enhanced and the hearts he warmed.
Robert Glenn Turner departed this life on November 4, 2025. He was preceded in death by: Parents: Lois Hollins and Leavy Adams Jr. Sisters: Eloise Jean and Kathy; Brother: Lonnie. Son: Lil Bobby, and Granddaughter: Arianna.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory: Son, Kevin Turner. Sister: Coletta (Blake). Nieces: Starla (Elder Troy) , Karen, Nephew: Rodney (Rhonda), 2 grandchildren: Robert, Terrianna, a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and great-grand nieces, great-grandnephews, cousins, and friends: Lannie Bass.
