Born on August 10, 1953, Kim lived her life as a beacon of strength, warmth, and unwavering dedication, qualities that deeply touched everyone who had the privilege to know her.

Kim's journey was not an easy one, yet she met every challenge with grace and resilience. She was a woman of remarkable tenacity; raising her four children while working and attending nursing school. Her love for nursing was only rivaled by her affection for her family, which remained her cornerstone. Kim highly valued education, and her willpower and persistence led her to graduate high school and attend nursing school. She later found joy and fulfillment working at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas, where she resided for 24 years. Kim's competitive spirit shone bright as she became known for her skill at playing pool. She even took her talent to tournaments where she enjoyed numerous victories. Yet, her greatest achievement was the love and respect she earned as a devoted mother.

Kim is remembered as a great mother, a caring friend, and a woman who could light up a room with her captivating spirit. She is survived by her daughters, Ranisha and Taniquewa Allen, who will forever cherish her memory. Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Sevia Flanagan. Her love, laughter, and kindness continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
